Who?
I’m an architect cloaked as an artist and teacher, and who, by assuming this disguise, is trying to better understand what it actually means to make architecture.
As an artist, I do large scale spatial installations and even larger scale territorial projects. As a teacher, I lead a studio in an architecture school. Both of these activities (architect + teacher) are tied together by a strong emphasis on the invention of intelligent, interactive space(s) that are respective of their expressive medium (space), their local and global contexts and constructive techniques (technologies).
I noticed your interest in Virtual Worlds on your web page/blog and wanted to contact you regarding an event we are hosting on this topic. “Virtual Worlds – Real potential” takes place on Tuesday 5 December from 6pm to 8.30pm at 180 Strand, London WC2.
The high level speaker line up includes representatives from EMI, BBC, IBM, Rivers Run Red, and a virtual concert promoter. Full details can be found at http://www.musically.com/debate. The evening will be a fantastic networking opportunity with a chance to discuss further ideas over drinks and canapés after the presentation and panellists have finished.
In return for mentioning our event on your blog and/or website we would like to offer you a free place and the discounted association rate for your readers.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have about the event.
Many thanks

Hi,
I am writing a book about SL and since I would like to mention your blog, it would be fine saying your name, or the one of your avatar.

Thanks.
